Over the two weeks I’ve walked it has been enjoyable to walk past miles and miles of fields. The crops change from one region to another. There have been thousands of acres of rapeseed, from which canola oil and other things are made. There are lots of fields of grain, many are fields of wheat, but other grains as well.
In a previous region there were countless vineyards. The branches were beginning to grow, no grapes are visible at this point. Some of the vineyards have rocks thickly covering the ground. Someone said the rock retain the heat during the day to protect the vines from becoming too cold at night.
