Churches and Cathedrals

All along the Camino are Catholic Churches. Not surprising, the Camino has been a Catholic pilofor over a thousand years. I’ve taken hundreds of pictures of the outside and insides of the churches and I find them fascinating, often beautiful. And although I don’t intend to bash those churches , I have found there to be many more paintings and figures of Mary, the mother of Jesus, than of Him.

I think it is proper to admire the beauty of these churches, and people spent countless hours over centuries building them. Much effort was often put forward to cause people to be in awe of the churches and items within in order to think of the awesomeness of God. I pray that many pilgrims recognize His awesomeness!
